PathWise Atlas ("we", "us", "the site") is an independent, informational comparison project created by Maimun Islam. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what we do — and importantly, what we do not — collect.

1. Information we collect

PathWise Atlas is a static, client-side website. We do not require accounts, and we do not run advertising trackers or sell data. The only ways information may be processed are:

Contact form: If you voluntarily submit the contact form, the name, email and message you provide are used solely to respond to you.
Anonymous analytics (optional): Aggregate, non-identifying usage data (such as page views) may be collected by a privacy-respecting analytics provider, if enabled, to understand which sections are useful. This never identifies you personally.
Local interactions: Comparisons, slider values and selections run entirely in your browser and are never transmitted to a server.

2. How we use information

Any information you submit through the contact form is used only to reply to your enquiry and improve the site. We do not share, rent or sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Cookies

PathWise Atlas does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If optional analytics are enabled, they may set a single first-party cookie to count unique sessions; you can block cookies in your browser settings without affecting the site's functionality.

4. Third-party resources

The site loads a web font from Google Fonts for typography. When your browser requests these files, Google may receive your IP address as part of that standard request. No other personal data is shared.

5. Data retention & security

Contact submissions are retained only as long as needed to address your request. We apply reasonable measures to protect any data you share, though no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Children

This site is intended for prospective students (generally 16+) and is not directed at children under 13.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information you have submitted by contacting us via the contact page.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
